Just wanted to say thanks to Ruben and both of you for a great weekend - had loads of fun and got some great snowboarding in (unfortunately, like Clark Kent, you lot never seemed to be around when I was at my best!). Thank you so much for looking after us really well last week. I have gone back to work feeling so much better for my holiday in the Alps - was it the fresh air, the sunshine, the fantastic food or all the wine? Perhaps a bit of all of them. Rob's friends seemed really heartfelt about how great the week was when we said goodbye at Gatwick. You have set yourselves a really high standard of holiday chalet: we were very cosy in Chalet Schuss, all the rooms look really attractive. Then we were treated to delicious food. I shall definitely be trying out some new recipes this weekend. Good luck nest week with all your guests. We will certainly be recommending you to friends!

I've been wanting to write for awhile to thank you guys for an awesome time at Chalet Schuss - oh to be there now! We are Schuss devotees and it remains a brilliant holiday in my mind. It was the perfect place for my birthday and New Year - you looked after me well - cheers guys.

Thanks again for being great hosts and I think everyone managed to get back to Nottingham in one piece. Steve and the crew have got a safe bet in organising things with you. Sincere thanks for a fantastic and very memorable weekend. Can't think of a better way of spending the weekend really and what a great bunch of people. I got home yesterday and was capable of little more than opening the post but I think I'm recovered now. My views on recycling may have altered slightly but it's just increased my passion for skiing. I just wanted to send a quick email to say thank you again for a great week at your lovely chalet. What an amazing place, you really did create a perfect chalet there, and congratulations on your chef, he cooked the most amazing food, I haven't eaten that well in a long time. Please send our thanks to the boys agian, to Reuben whose food we all sorely miss as well as his ever cheerful self, even when we made him cook breakfast rather early and were always late for his cakes. And thanks to Daph for putting up with all the faffing. Good luck with everything and have a restful summer.

There is always a risk in booking late in the day and yet when we arrived the chalet was great, Reuben cooked superbly and both of you were very welcoming and helpful. Thank you. In addition the snow and skiing and lack of crowds made the skiing a great success - and the boys are now just about as fast as we are. Many thanks agian. We're all keen to visit Chamonix again...

May I take this opportunity to thank you, Colin and Dave for a fantastic weekend in Chamonix. It was exhilarating, exhausting, enjoyable and most memorable. I feel very honoured to have been invited on the inaugral trip and it was good to get to know all the other guests as well. The accommodation was superb and you really did come across a great find in Charlie and Daph. Thanks also for arranging Bruno, the mad Frenchman. If anyone had told me that I would ski off piste powder after 10+ years of not skiing then I would not have believed it. Although I think I may now be suffering from whiplash from one of the many nose dives into the snow! Please pass on my gratitude to all that were involved in organising the trip. What a really great trip. The recipe for the weekend was as well put together as the meals turned out by Ruben. A good mix of personalities ensured a high level of amusement. The skiing was truly fantastic with probably the best conditions ever. I think whoever said that the last day will be the one to remember as we crashed through treess and haystacks and resembled snowmen, was absolutely right! Thanks for including me in the team.
