Having done as much as we can to reduce our fuel usage and carbon footprint we are offsetting the rest, plus a surplus, through Climate Care - one of the few charities to be recommended by a study carried out by the respected US charity Clean Air Cool Planet - and with no added cost to our clients.
Whilst we do not see carbon offsetting as the answer to stopping global warming, and admit that there is undeniably an underlying problem with the concept of carbon offsets (rather than seeking ever more ingenious ways to offset pollution we should be trying to produce less of it in the first place) having reduced our emissions as much as possible we are offsetting the remainder through a respected industry leader; and, until rigorous carbon allowances are introduced for businesses and individuals we feel that this is the best option available.
